its excellent, central location was a plus. the breakfast offered was good with boiled eggs and juices, for instance, couldn't have asked for more. there was free wi-fi throughout the property and the service in general was great.

Located in the heart of Jerusalem; just a few minutes walking to the old centre. Nice staff. You get plenty of quality for the price you will pay.

The breakfast options were quite satisfying in the mornings.
I faced several issues that left me disappointed. The air conditioning unit in my room was noisy. It reminded me of I had been given a room that no one else wanted, and my requests for help from the night clerk went unanswered because of the language barrier. The hotel's location, while central, meant that I often heard street noise well into the night was great.

First, great location nearby the Old city and sense of safety despite the arabic quarter. Second, lots of soaps and towels.
Wi-Fi connection is smth like gibberish (rate never will be above 40 kbit/s and many times the attempts to join network were idle). It was a unexpected thing. And there is nobody at reception area after 9 p.m., all of staff set at the 2nd floor, leaving the keys without tending.

Other than being near somewhere I wanted to go, I didn't like anything about it.
How can I write what I did not like about it and it not be a complaint. Do yourself a favor, don't go there.

A hidden gem by the gate
Staying at Rivoli Hotel was like stepping into a charming pocket of Jerusalem. The friendly staff made sure our needs were met. I especially appreciated the lovely breakfast spread, a good way to start a day of exploration!
The noise from the street at night could be distracting, especially for light sleepers.

Staff extremely helpful in my personal difficulty.
Had to cancel my stay after two nights. They requested I pay for 4 nights. I think that was one night too many.

While the staff were nice, it's absurd that I was given a room with a toilet cistern that broke and, guess what, thin curtains that let the sunrise pour in like an obnoxious alarm clock. I expected an upgrade for my troubles but alas, I was treated like anyone else. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Location - 100m from the Old City; friendly and helpful personnel; wi-fi (in the lobby)
It's not luxurious hotel - don't expect a lot; could be noisy during the night - ask quiet room

Great location, really close to the old walled city. Close to buses. Very nice lounge area with free internet use.
No elevator...wasn't bad for us as we only had backpacks, but hard if you have a lot of luggage.
